The Federal Liberal government and Cape Breton Regional Police Service made the decision recently to reroute police resources and your tax dollars to confiscating guns from licensed owners. A pilot project is set to begin this week and they’ve targeted Cape Breton hunters and firearms owners. There is NO OBLIGATION for Cape Bretoners to participate in this pilot and we encourage everyone to avoid helping them develop this gun grab.
Join us Thursday, October 2 from 12-5 for a public rally against this wasteful and ineffective program that affects all legal users, in front of Cape Breton Regional Police Headquarters, 865 Grand Lake Road.
Join Tracey Wilson from the CCFR, The Canadian Taxpayers Federation, Jeff McNeil and friends from the Port Morien Wildlife Association, the Sydney Metro Rifle & Pistol Club, Anna Manley, Conservative Candidate of Record, Blaine Calkins MP and Members of the Conservative Hunting & Angling Caucus and many more special guests.
A town hall on this issue will follow at 7pm, location TBD.
Everyone who supports real public safety policy welcome!!! Lots of special guests.
There will be a TOWN HALL meeting the same day at 7pm at the Mira Road Fire Department, 1757 George St., Syndney NS where we'll hear from local gun club officials, MP's and other politicians, Wilson from the CCFR and the Canadian Taxpayer Federation will have their lawyer, Devin Drover on site to answer your questions free of charge.
Everyone welcome!
