Peter Koubakis is a proud Greek-Canadian and lifelong resident of Scarborough who is passionate about the future of his community and his country.
A dedicated bodybuilder and fitness enthusiast, Peter believes strongly in discipline, perseverance, and personal responsibility. These values guide both his personal life and his professional work as a butcher, where he has developed a deep respect for hard work, precision, and integrity.
Peter was raised in the Orthodox Christian faith and continues to be guided by the principles of faith, family, and service to others. Growing up in Scarborough has given him firsthand experience with both the strengths and the challenges facing one of Canada’s most diverse communities.
In addition to his work in the trades, Peter has also been active as an independent journalist and has experience in retail management. These roles have helped him better understand the everyday concerns of working Canadians and the importance of honest leadership. He studied Politics and Governance at Toronto Metropolitan University, where he developed a strong interest in public policy and the issues shaping Canada’s future.
Peter is running for Parliament because he believes Scarborough deserves representation that stands firmly for freedom, responsibility, and Canadian sovereignty. He supports lower taxes, smaller government, the protection of lawful firearms ownership, and policies that put Canadians first.
Peter believes Canada must remain True North, strong and free—a country where faith, family, and community remain the foundation of a healthy society.
He is committed to working with residents across Scarborough to build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous future for the next generation.
