Michel Lachance is a lifelong resident of Toronto's east end, born in the Beaches and proud to still call the community home. A small business owner, licensed financial professional, and founding member of the People's Party of Canada, Michel knows what it's like to work hard, raise a family, pay a mortgage, and deal with the rising cost of living.
For more than a decade, Michel has owned and operated MJL Electronics and Computers, providing engineering, electronics, and IT solutions to local businesses. After discovering his own family's financial plan wasn't what he'd been promised, he became licensed in securities and insurance to help other Canadians protect their financial future.
Michel is running because he's had enough of career politicians putting government first and Canadians second. He believes in lower taxes, smaller government, personal responsibility, and protecting the freedoms that made Canada one of the greatest countries in the world.
Beaches–East York deserves a representative who answers to the people—not the political establishment. Michel is ready to be that voice!
