Kyla Courte was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta. Growing up, her family spent much of their time camping and riding ATVs through the stunning landscapes of western Alberta. From road trips across Canada to overseas adventures in Portugal and Thailand, Kyla and her family loved exploring the world and learning about different cultures. This passion for humanity and diverse ways of life continued into her academic journey, where she pursued studies in anthropology.
Following in her father’s footsteps, Kyla entered the financial services sector, taking charge of an underserved office and working diligently to ensure her clients received the care and attention they deserved. She earned a reputation for doing what was right and always prioritizing her clients’ needs. In 2019, Kyla stepped back to focus on her personal growth and development, ultimately earning her financial planning designation in 2021.
In 2023, Kyla resumed her role as an advisor, where she continues to enjoy helping clients meet their financial planning needs. Politics has always been close to her heart, and in recent years, she has taken significant steps to re-evaluate her views. Despite the political and economic challenges Canada has faced since 2020, Kyla feels deeply grateful for the clarity and focus she has gained, reconnecting with the common-sense values she was raised with.
