John Ede is a naturalized Canadian who immigrated to Canada in 2017; leaving his country of birth in pursuit of the promise of Canada. He is married to his childhood love and together, they have been raising their two daughters and son in Vancouver, BC. Originally trained as a chemical engineer, John holds a Masters in Public Policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia and is a certified Project Management Professional. He has spent his entire years schooling and working at the UBC Vancouver where he has held student and staff union positions; as the President of the Graduate Student Society and as Board Member at Large for the Association of Administrative and Professional Staff of UBC Vancouver.
