Joanne Voyer is a registered nurse with more than 26 years in Quebec's health network, and the People's Party of Canada candidate in Saint-Hyacinthe—Bagot—Acton.
She trained at the Cégep du Vieux Montréal and graduated in 1999. For nearly 20 years she worked at the CISSS de Laval, mostly on a float team, covering surgery, emergency, geriatrics, orthopedics and psychiatry. For 15 of those years she also assisted surgeons in the operating room.
Since 2018 she has worked through health agencies, caring for vulnerable patients in First Nations and Inuit communities, in home and palliative care, and in long-term care. She also served five years as a union representative for her fellow nurses.
Joanne has seen up close what Quebec patients and health workers face every day. She is running to bring common sense and accountability back to Ottawa. To support her campaign, donate or volunteer today!
