Gordon Nash began his professional journey with a science degree, initially taking on a sales role at a company specializing in corn-based products. Over the past 45 years, he has had the privilege of working with organizations of varying sizes, from small businesses to large corporations. Throughout most of his career, he has focused on the U.S. and international markets, gaining a deep understanding of the critical role these markets play for Canadian companies. He also recognizes the private sector as the primary engine driving economic growth and prosperity.In recent years, particularly since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Gordon has been increasingly concerned by what he perceives as significant errors made by the current government in Ottawa. These actions, in his view, are not only profound but damaging to Canada’s national interests, leading him to question whether they are deliberate efforts to weaken Canada's global standing.Although Gordon has never been particularly politically active, he is now resolute in his determination to stand against these destructive forces and work toward restoring Canada's rightful place among the world’s nations. The values and platform of the People's Party of Canada align closely with his own, and he is proud to represent the party in the upcoming elections.
