Shannon is not a career politician. Shannon is a family man and long-time IT professional and has worked across many "platforms" from private industry, oil and gas, and government. He was originally born in Bishop Falls, Newfoundland. Shannon originally started his successful IT career with the Government of the Northwest Territories. Shannon was a proud member of the Fort McMurray community until the wildfire and chose to return to Yellowknife and restart life and his career in Labrador West, with his roots firmly planted in Wabush.

Shannon is growing increasingly disappointed with where he sees our great country headed. Shannon sees that the interests of hard-working Canadian's being blatantly ignored time and time again. Shannon is tired of seeing Candian people and businesses being destroyed and is ready to take the steps needed to get us back on track. Shannon is proud to step up for the Peoples Party alongside other candidates to ensure Canada remains the True North Strong and Free.
