Miramichi–Grand LakeRon Nowlan

Ron is a native of Miramichi, New Brunswick who has worked in the Mining, Education, Banking and Government IT industry as an IT professional. He retired at 65 as an independent IT contractor after he moved to Quebec in his youth for employment opportunities. He has worked in 5 provinces and 3 states during his career .

A Miramichi born resident , married to Julie his spouse of 54 years, Ron was raised on a 250 acre farm owned by his parents. He learned at an early age how hard work brought good things. Educated at university and college as a licensed teacher the bulk of his career in the information industry as a project specialist /management consultant equipped him to qualify as a NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) Management Consultant in the United States in1998. Ron’s commitment to his home town was delayed to pursue a career elsewhere like so many of us have. His work ethic and sound scientific principles garnered him contracts in Canada and the United States. Prior to his work in the United States he started a company in Ottawa that obtained IT contracts with DND, CSIS, Immigration, Supply and Services Canada, and Nortel.

He has served on sports committees in 3 provinces. Ron’s active criticism of lack of good healthcare for Atlantic Canada is constant. “The People’s Party of Canada is a natural thing for me, it has a clear solution to our needs for fair governance for all of Canada. Its not just another set of un-sustainable promises. It will unite the country instead of dividing families. The People’s Party has put forth reasonable goals that everyone can understand. It will produce employment in all sectors by building on Canada’s energy based economy and is not restricted by environmental scare tactics.”
