Martin is passionate about Canadian sovereignty and personal liberty. In his younger years, he worked in the resource industry, including forestry, mining exploration, guiding, ranching, farming, and construction. He spent his adult years working in information technology, management, and accounting. He has been especially concerned, over the last 18 months, about the rapid erosion of personal liberties, and the abysmal performance of all levels of government in their handling of the pandemic, and has studied this topic in great depth. Martin is divorced, with 4 adult children, and is currently studying Economics and Political Science
