Dong scandal continues

The PPC Newsletter - March 23, 2023

Last night news broke that Han Dong, a Liberal MP at the centre of the Chinese election interference scandal, secretly advised a Canada-based Chinese diplomat to delay the freeing of the two Michaels.

Dong allegedly met with a Chinese diplomat in February 2021 to ask for this delay, while at the same time requesting that Beijing show progress in their cases, in order to benefit the Liberals ahead of the upcoming federal election.

This story gets more and more disturbing every day!

Not only was Trudeau knowingly keeping a national security risk in his caucus, that person was actively engaging in hostage negotiations with the foreign government he is connected to!

Since this report came out last night, Dong has stepped down from the Liberal caucus and will sit as an independent in the House of Commons.

The opposition parties are using this news for renewed calls for a public inquiry into election interference by the Chinese Communist Party.

But anyone who is actually paying attention knows that a public inquiry is not sufficient.

We just spent the last year watching as the corrupt Trudeau Liberals used the Freedom Convoy Inquiry to whitewash their blatant abuse of power and quietly sweep it under the rug.

And just a month after Poilievre and the so-called “Conservatives” rubber-stamped this unjust decision, they’re right back to calling for another public inquiry?

That right there captures the incompetence of Poilievre and his broken party—trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results!

We must go further. Yes, there should be a public inquiry but it should be run by expert citizens—not politicians only looking to score partisan points.

Han Dong must be removed from his seat in Parliament while a criminal investigation is conducted to determine whether or not he is a Chinese asset guilty of treason.

And the remaining 10 MPs whose election races were influenced by the Chinese Communist Party—including 2 unnamed CPC MPs—must also step down while similar criminal investigations are conducted.

With more and more news coming out demonstrating the infiltration of Chinese Communists into the Liberal Party, pressure for a snap election is mounting.

That means we have to be ready to run a full-scale, national election campaign which costs a lot of money.

Our end-of-quarter fundraising drive is going incredibly well so far.

We’ve raised more than $100,000 dollars this month!

But we’re still $32,000 short of our goal…

If you haven’t contributed yet, please consider making a $10 donation today!

If you have already contributed, but can afford to give a little more, consider contributing another $10 to cover your fellow PPC supporters who can’t afford to donate right now.

We have one week left to raise $32,000! Help us get election ready by making a donation today!

Thank you,
-Max
