Colette was born and raised in Sudbury. She is a bilingual retired High School Science teacher.Passionate about her career, she influenced many of her students to pursue a career in the field of science. Colette has always been dedicated to serving those in need. She took early retirement to care for her ailing parents and her two sisters, one with a severe brain injury and the other with Down's syndrome. Her sisters, now deceased, have always inspired Colette in her life’s path.

She is now ready for a new challenge. Colette holds Canadian values very close to her heart, which is why she decided to make a debut in the world of politics.

Having worked with youth her entire career, Colette recognizes the importance and impact a good leader can have on our younger generation. Colette is dedicated,hard working and displays continuous efforts towards causes that affect her community
